Detox The Pancreas

The human pancreas is an organ responsible for producing important enzymes needed to digest what we eat. When it is in a diseased condition, or when toxins from food or the environment are introduced into the body, pancreatic hormonal imbalances can occur, and diseases such as diabetes can manifest. The pancreas must be detoxified to keep it healthy.

Instructions

1. Eliminate all intake of toxins such as alcohol, cigarettes and illegal drugs. Instead, take natural green products, which can be found at your local health food store. Green products are natural herbal supplements, such as ginger tea to promote anti-oxidation, ginseng juice to help with energy, and cedar berry to promote pancreatic cell growth. Consuming natural ingredients helps to remove toxins from the body, and cleans your pancreas more quickly.

2. Drink ten glasses of water a day (mineral water preferred). Drinking a lot of water will cleanse the pancreas, allowing the toxins to go through your kidneys faster, so you can maximize its function of excretion. More toxins will be eliminated through sweat and urine.

3. Take one hot shower every day, preferably before going to bed. Scrub your skin with a loofah sponge under the hot water. The scrubbing, combined with the heat and stimulation of the hot water, will improve the blood flow to the pancreas.

4. Take a multivitamin every day. Vitamins aid in stimulating the pancreas. According to the American Pancreatic Association, vitamins help prevent pancreatic diseases such as pancreatic cancer.

5. Perform Yoga exercises to stimulate the pancreas. The Uddiyana Bandha yoga technique is specific for targeting the pancreas. Do this daily. You can view the Uddiyana Bandha technique on Youtube.com or click on the link in the tips section below.
