Herbal Cures For Hypertension

Hypertension is also known as high blood pressure and it affects as many as 73 million Americans. If left unchecked, hypertension can lead to a number of other heart conditions and also be a cause of death. There are ways that you can control hypertension and even cure it. The following are some herbal remedies that have been known to treat and cure this ailment.

Ayrveda

This is an herbal remedy that comes from South Asia and India. Many herbs, including cinnamon and cardamom are combined to create a supplement that is beneficial to health and can lower blood pressure.

Garlic

Garlic is the most common herbal cure for high blood pressure. It gets rid of toxins that can cause hypertension and also promotes consistent and healthy blood flow.

Ginger

This is another herb that helps to cure hypertension, though it is not as effective as herbs like garlic. Ginger helps to stimulate the digestive system, which gets much needed nutrients into the blood stream and allows for natural circulation of the blood.

Nutmeg

This herb can help cure hypertension by stimulating the circulatory system and increasing blood circulation. Be careful not to take more than 30 grams in a day, as it can be toxic in large amounts.

Celery

Considered both a vegetable and an herb for its health benefits, celery stalks, seeds or other parts of the plant are often used as a cure for high blood pressure. This is because it increases the flow of urine, which gets rid of toxins that can cause high blood pressure.
