Pain In Lower Right Back

When you have pain in your lower back it can really prevent you from carrying out your normal daily tasks. Back pain can often feel severe and debilitating, leading people to seek medical help for their condition. There are many reasons for back pain occurring on the right side of the lower back, and it is important to know the symptoms so that you can understand the causes for your back pain.


Overuse of Muscles


Muscle strain is the most common cause of lower right back pain, and can be a result of too much exercise, lifting things the wrong way, or obesity.


Herniated Disc


A herniated disc can happen when one of the veritable discs slips out of its place on the spinal column, and is often accompanied by extreme pain in the lower back.


Osteoporosis


Osteoporosis is a condition characterized by the bones of the back becoming less dense and porous. This can cause pain in the lower back and spine.


Kidney Infection


The kidney's are located on either side of the body near the lower back. If you have a kidney infection, there can be an ache on the lower right side of the body.








Pinched Nerve


You might have a picked nerve in your back from inflammation. This can also effect the lower right back and can be felt as painful twinges.
