Avoid Yeast Infections Naturally

Avoid Yeast Infections Naturally

prevent vaginal yeast infections. Vaginal yeast infections or vulvovaginal candidias are very common and caused by fungus growth in the vagina. Infections can leave you feeling itchy, uncomfortable, and even an embarrassing white discharge in your underwear. Here are some pointers to help you avoid yeast intestinal tract infections in the first place.

Instructions

1. Educate yourself on the causes and symptoms or yeast infections . There are many different types of yeast infections such as acidophilus and candida. You could also be mistaking your yeast infection for something else with similar symptoms such as a urinary tract infection, bladder infection, or other bacterial infection.

2. Avoid wearing tight fitting clothes that trap moisture. Wearing wet bathing suits or non breathable nylon underwear that withhold moisture can cause yeast infections.

3. Make sure everything that comes in contact is clean and free of bacteria. Most vaginal yeast infections are cause by the introduction of bacteria into the vagina. Douching, unclean hands, and saliva are things you want to avoid. If you are sexually active, avoid any contact with saliva, as it carries the most bacteria.

4. Include yogurt in your diet. Eating yogurt can help prevent yeast infections. The active cultures/bacteria help replace the bacteria your body is without. This can help prevent infections before they start. If you have an existing infection you will need to see a doctor for antibiotics or oral contraceptives. Your local free clinic should also provide free yeast infection treatment.
