Natural Body Cleansing With Lemon Juice And Maple Syrup

It is easy to do an internal cleanse using natural ingredients such as lemons, maple syrup, and cayenne pepper. All you need are those three ingredients, water, and ten days. You are not to eat any food during the cleanse. You can fast safely for up to forty days, but if you are doing the cleanse for the first time, stick with ten days. Cleansing the body with lemon juice and maple syrup is commonly referred to as the master cleanse.


Find the Correct Ingredients


The goal of the cleanse is to rid your body of harmful toxins built up in your system. The body naturally rids itself of toxins, but if you consume a diet laden with preservatives, alcohol, and saturated fat, it is difficult for the body to keep up.

Find fresh, organic lemons. Organic is best because they are free of the pesticides and toxins you are about to flush from your body. Purchase Grade B maple syrup. The darker the syrup you can find, the better, because it has more vitamins and minerals. You will also need cayenne pepper; any brand will work.


Prepare for the Cleanse


About 10 days before beginning the lemon and maple syrup, cut your diet down to only raw fruits and vegetables. This will help your body adjust to the fast and avoid shock. Drink 10 cups of water daily during this time, and take a multivitamin.








The Master Cleanse


Now you are ready to begin the cleanse, with all the ingredients on hand. Squeeze one lemon into a large cup (10 ounces); the lemon will yield 2 to 3 tablespoons of juice. Add 2 tablespoons of maple syrup. Add a pinch of cayenne pepper, and fill with warm or room-temperature water to about 8 ounces. Stir vigorously and enjoy. Make this drink fresh every two hours or whenever you are hungry. Or squeeze the needed lemon juice into bottles and add the other ingredients right before drinking.


After the Cleanse


Slowly reintroduce liquid foods to your diet, beginning with organic orange juice. After about five days, you can begin eating normally. Avoid junk food so you do not put toxins right back into your system. You can expect to lose 20 or more pounds on the cleanse.
