Eat Healthy At Tcby

Ice cream makes everything a little bit better. That is, of course, unless you're on a diet. Then ice cream becomes the enemy. Thankfully, frozen yogurt like that at TCBY can be a great compromise when you need to get a sweet fix without wrecking all your hard work.

Instructions

1. Remember your portion sizes. A serving of frozen yogurt is ? cup, so only order a small or enlist the help of a friend to share the burden.

2. Choose soft-serve over hand-packed. There's little difference in calorie content, but the hand-packed variety has 5-6 grams of fat per serving, while the soft-serve has none.

3. Go non-fat whenever possible. The 96 percent fat-free yogurt has 30 grams of fat, while the fat-free varieties have zero fat.

4. Go without the low-carb varieties. If you're trying to reduce fat and calorie intake, the low-carb version is the wrong way to go. It actually has twice as much fat (60 grams) than a traditional scoop.

5. Skip the smoothie. Most of the TCBY smoothies are at least 400-500 calories. The A Lotta Colada is the worst of the bunch, with 550 calories and 17 grams of fat per 20-ounce cup.
