Make Turmeric Paste

Turmeric paste is a thick mixture of turmeric powder and water. The paste is used in food, as a beauty treatment and for medicinal purposes. For consumption, turmeric paste can be used to make an almond butter sandwich spread, mixed with honey for a sweet paste, mixed with liquids to drink for medicinal purposes or as an ingredient in a hot beverage called golden milk. As a beauty treatment, turmeric paste is used for facials, to reduce acne, as a body scrub and for hair removal. Turmeric also has anti-inflammatory properties and has been used for centuries in Ayurvedic medicine, a system of alternative medicine that originated in India more than 2,000 years ago.
