Increase Blood Circulation With Green Tea

Green tea has powerful antioxidants and great vasodilating effects, meaning that it increases blood circulation, which is important in getting oxygen to the body's tissues. Good circulation gives you more energy, brings minerals, vitamins and herbs to the cells in your body and removes carbon dioxide and solid wastes. Without good circulation, toxins may build up, causing serious health complications.

Instructions

1. Buy a natural form of green tea. Look for brands in health food stores. In general, green tea is minimally processed, which means its leaves are withered and steamed instead of fermented like others types of tea. This keeps the tea's catechins, especially epigallocatechin-3-gallate or EGCG, intact and more concentrated.

2. Heat hot water in a heat-resistant mug until close to boiling. One and a half minutes in the microwave should be sufficient.

3. Seep a green tea bag in the hot water for five minutes. Squeeze out excess tea by pressing the tea bag against a spoon. Remove the bag.

4. Drink at least one cup of green tea daily to improve circulation and intercellular exchange, increase metabolism and boost your immune system.

5. Consider buying a green tea supplement if you want the health benefits without drinking the tea. The antioxidant power from green tea leaves can be captured in capsules. Take 500 mg daily (see Resources).
