Use Ginseng For Male Stamina

The quality of farmed ginseng is improving with new cultivation techniques.

Ginseng is a popular herb for men's health, particularly for general and sexual stamina. Chinese ginseng (Panax ginseng) has been used for thousands of years for its salutary effects on the glandular system of both men and women, so much so that it has become a threatened species in the wild. Unfortunately, this has resulted in the price of wild ginseng skyrocketing over the last century. Cultivated ginseng, while used in increasing amounts, is still believed to be much less potent than ginseng found naturally in the wild. Unlike pharmaceutical supplements for men's stamina, ginseng takes time to work. Expect several weeks of use before seeing the desired results.

Instructions

1. Identify a supplier of high-quality dried ginseng root. Good ginseng does not come cheap, unfortunately; low-quality ginseng is common and largely ineffective in improving male stamina.

2. Grind dried ginseng root into a fine powder using the cheese grater. Whole ginseng root loses potency upon exposure to air, so take care to grind only as much as you need immediately.

3. Measure 1 tsp. of the ginseng powder. Add it to the cup of water.

4. Mix the water and ginseng powder thoroughly.

5. Drink the mixture of ginseng and water on an empty stomach. Repeat as many as three times per day. Ginseng may be used in this manner for up to four months, after which you should take a two-week break from treatment.
