4. Set a vaporizer near your bed and breathe in the vapor during the night while you sleep.


5. Take a shower or bath in water as warm as you can comfortably stand. The steam will help soothe and hydrate your throat naturally.


6. Suck on cough lozenges or even pieces of peppermint candy to suppress the cough during the day.
