Kinoki Foot Detox

Kinoki foot detox is a body detoxification process that claims to draw out harmful toxins from the body through the feet. The detox program consists of using Kinoki foot pads, which are attached to the soles of the feet and left on overnight. In the morning, manufacturers claim the pads will be soiled with the toxins that came out of the skin pores.

Prepping Your Feet

Before using the Kinoki foot detox system, make sure your feet are clean. Wash them with soap in warm water. Pat thoroughly dry until all excess moisture has been sufficiently removed. Applying the pads on clean feet will also help you determine whether the toxins have truly been removed from your body. Remove the backing from the Kinoki foot pads and discard.

Apply Kinoki Foot Pads

Press the adhesive side of the pads onto the bottoms of your feet. Press firmly to make sure the pads have attached properly. Leave the pads on overnight for at least 6 to 8 hours. In the morning, remove the pads and discard. The pads are usually for one-time use only. Use new pads every night until the pads are no longer soiled or darkened when removed. According to the manufacturers, this means that the toxins have been completely removed from your body.

Controversy

The Kinoki foot pads have weathered their fair share of controversy. Kinoki foot pads and the foot detox system have not been sufficiently evaluated by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration), and it is suggested that people use the product at their own risk. The FTC (Federal Trade Commission) has filed charges against manufacturers stating that the claims made by them are untrue. The FTC has also accused the manufacturers of not having enough evidence to back up the claims that the foot pads remove harmful toxins. The FTC hopes to prevent the company from manufacturing and selling any more of the Kinoki foot pads.
