Earliest Signs Of Lung Cancer

There are a few early signs of lung cancer that you should look out for, especially if you are a smoker or if you live in a place with high levels of radon gas. Detecting the earliest signs of lung cancer can give you the best chances for survival.

Continuous Chest Pain

If you have a dull chest pain that seems constant, this could be one of the earliest signs of lung cancer. Never ignore chest pain.

Constant Coughing

A cough that does not seem to go away needs to be looked at. Having a constant cough can be a symptom of many different issues, including lung cancer.

Shortness of Breath

Shortness of breath means that you feel like you cannot take in a deep breath or that you feel that you can catch your breath. Pay articular attention if you are short of breath while at rest.

Coughing With Blood

If there is any blood when you cough, seek help right away. This could indicate lung cancer and is a symptom that should not be ignored.

Early Detection

Lung cancer is particularly aggressive and can spread through the body very rapidly. Treatment may involve surgery, radiation and chemotherapy. Early detection is key.
