1. Keep hydrated. Drinking plenty of water is an important part of detoxing your body to remove the mold and mildew. The water will aid in flushing the toxins out of your body.


2. Visit your doctor. Your primary care physician may be able to prescribe an inhaler or antihistamine to help rid your body of mold and mildew.


3. Increase your garlic intake. Garlic is a natural anti-fungal vegetable that will help rid your body of the mycotoxins that are associated with mold.


4. Take herbal supplements. Herbs such as goldenseal, psyllium and cascara sagrada will aid in cleansing your bowels, intestinal tract and bowels. They will flush the mold and mildew out of your body.

5. Keep the area affected with the mold and mildew dry. Mold and mildew thrive in dark, damp areas. Keeping yourself clean and dry will go a long way to combat the mold and mildew.

7. Soak the area with a cotton ball saturated in apple cider vinegar a few times a day. The vinegar will work as an antiseptic and drying agent.
