Stop Snoring Naturally

Stop Snoring Naturally

All you want to do is get a good night's sleep, but you can't get the sound of that freight train out of your ear. Your spouse is happily snoring away right next to you, not a care in the world. You try pinching his nose but he just snorts, turns over and continues snoring. You can't go without sleep forever. There could be relief: just try these simple steps to naturally curtail your spouse's snoring.

Instructions

1. Put several pillows behind his head to elevate it and prevent the blockage of his throat passageway. When the pillow is too low the tongue falls to the back of the throat limiting the air passageway.

2. Use firm pillows and not the soft, fluffy kind. The throat relaxes and constricts the passageway if the pillow is too soft.

3. Convince your spouse to lie on her side when she is sleeping instead of her back.

4. Encourage, kindly, that your spouse lose weight. Join a weight loss program together. If a person is overweight there is an increase in the amount of fatty tissue in the throat which narrows the passageway.

5. Steer clear of dairy products before going to bed. Dairy causes mucus buildup.

6. Avoid alcohol and sleep aides. These substances relax the throat muscles, narrowing the passageways.

7. Sleep with a humidifier. The steam decreases the amount of congestion and soothes the throat.
