Add Symptoms In Women

ADD symptoms in women can often make a woman seem disorganized, scatterbrained, or self-absorbed. It is not uncommon for a woman with ADD to make it to adulthood without being diagnosed. Because ADD lacks the hyperactivity of ADHD, it is less disruptive in a classroom environment and not as easily picked up by parents and teachers. Women with ADD may find every day life frustrating and overwhelming.


Problems Focusing


Woman with ADD often have trouble focusing on a task for an extended period of time.


Disorganization


Woman with ADD often have trouble organizing their home and work environment. They often create piles to try and create organization.


Hypersensitivity

The symptoms of ADD often result in a pattern of failure that can cause low self-esteem in woman with ADD that goes back to childhood.

Women with ADD often take on too much and are unable to complete projects because they are overwhelmed and have poor organizational skills.


Hyper-Focusing








Attention Deficit Disorder is generally associated with a lack of attention but women with ADD have the ability to hyper-focus on projects that they are interested in with amazing results. The creative mind of a woman with ADD can help her accomplish tasks in a unique way.
