Cure Beanpod Candles

Beanpod candles are soybean candles with one exception. The company only uses soy beans made in America to make the candles. A regular soybean candle is made of a mixture of soybean and paraffin wax. Despite the difference, the process to cure a Beanpod candle is much like the process of a soybean candle. It is possible to create your own scent of candle using a Beanpod candle. Beanpod sells an unscented candle that can be used to make your own scent.

Instructions

1. Melt the wax and stir in the fragrance completely before pouring into containers. Not properly stirring the fragrance can leave a candle with a weak scent and a distorted color.

2. Place the containers in an area away from other scents, and where they will not be disturbed or moved.

3. Pour the wax in the containers. Leave the candles undisturbed for at least 24 hours.

4. Smell the candle after 24 hours. If the scent is strong enough, light the candle. The longer it is left undisturbed, the stronger the scent will be when lit.
