Relieve Stress With Essential Oils

Relieving stress is as simple as combining some of your favorite essential oils and using them for massage, bathing and simmering. Sometimes all it takes to relieve stress is inhaling the vapors of a calming essential oil. The art of aromatherapy, which uses essential oils, harnesses the pure essences of various flowers and plants to work on the nervous system and restore harmony.


Instructions


1. Vaporize two drops of cinnamon leaf essential oil with four drops of orange essential oil in a vaporizer or potpourri simmering pot to lift depression.


2. Place one drop of cinnamon leaf onto a tissue and inhale to relieve mental exhaustion.


3. Mix two drops of damiana essential oil with four drops of neroli essential oil and four drops of sandalwood. Massage into neck and shoulders to soothe chronic stress and hypersensitivity.








4. Take a bath with two drops of damiana essential oil added, along with four drops of orange essential oil to calm nerves.


5. Dilute two drops of damiana essential oil, six drops of rose geranium essential and two drops of vetiver essential oil in four teaspoons of a carrier oil like sweet almond oil. Massage gently into the abdomen to relieve stress and soothe anxiety.


6. Mix two drops of valerian essential oil with four drops of sandalwood essential oil and four drops of laurel leaf essential oil. Combine with four teaspoons of sweet almond oil and massage into the body to soothe emotional stress.


7. Mix two drops of valerian essential oil with four drops of neroli essential oil and four drops of may chang essential oil. Combine with four teaspoons of sweet almond oil. Massage gently into the neck and shoulders to overcome panic and stress.
