Following your passion is something that you can do. This may come to you at an early age or later on in life. However following your passion always leads to fulfillment in your life so pay close attention to do this.

1. First step is to remember that following your passion is the most important thing you can do for yourself when it comes to your career. The majority of people are programed to not follow their passion when it comes to their career because they still fear the unknown. But following your passion early on is a must if you want to live a succesful fulfilling lifestyle.
2. Second, when following your passion realize that it ultimately your choice. You may have many people either supporting this choice or telling you not to go through with it, but it is this choice that will shape your future. You must get clear on what you enjoy doing most. A question I ask clients to ask themselves is this. " What would you be doing for the rest of your life, even if you didn't get paid for it" The answer will lead you to find out what your true passion is. You also must recondition your subconscious mind, if you were told early on that following your passion is not the right thing to do. This requires patience and follow through on your part, to make yourself believe that following your passion is actually more fulfilling than otherwise.
3. Third experiment with different things. You won't find your passion by sticking to one thing at first, you must try out different things and make mistakes along the way. Mistakes is how we learn and grow. Feel free to not know what it is you want. This is fine. You are experimenting and that's better than doing something others tell you, and you aren't getting joy from. Realize that the process of finding out what your passion may be is challenging, but worthwhile in the long term. This may take time, but you will see that the process makes you stronger and wiser in the end.
