Fruits
Low carb fruits are more restrictive. Strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, cantaloupe, lemons and limes are low carb.
Vegetables
A low carb diet is a veggie-lovers dream. The list includes artichokes, cucumbers, green beans, broccoli, spinach, yellow squash, okra, onions, peppers, sprouts, zucchini, celery, mushrooms, lettuce, cabbages, leeks, snow peas, limited amounts of tomatoes, eggplant and pumpkin.
Dairy
In the dairy section, low carb foods include all hard and soft cheeses, cottage cheese and cream cheese. Also making the list is heavy whipping cream, real butter, eggs, sour cream, and half and half.
Beverages
Water, diet soda, tea and coffee may be had liberally. Sugar-free Kool-Aid, Crystal Light mixes and diet hot cocoa are also permitted on a low carb regimen.
Nuts, Oils and Low Carb Bread
Nuts, nut flour, coconut oil and olive oil are low carb foods. Low carb breads of all kinds are also on a low carb lovers list.
