Lose Weight By Taking Oil

Oils are often overlooked when one decides to lose weight. But there are many healthy oils that can be used in cooking or baking or simply ingested by themselves to aid in weight loss. Flaxseed, fish and olive oils are some of the best oils for a weight-loss regimen.

Instructions

1. Use flaxseed oil. Flaxseed is full of dietary fiber that helps you feel satiated and avoid overeating. Flaxseed can be used in a variety of ways: to bake or broil meats, as a salad dressing or mixed with a beverage. Use flaxseed oil to bake or broil meats such as chicken or pork. Use it as a salad dressing. You can add a spritz of lemon or lime to give the salad some extra flavor. Last, add one or two tablespoons of flaxseed oil to water and drink once a day. If you prefer, you may add the oil to another low-calorie beverage, such as orange juice or a sugar-free fruit juice.

2. Add fish oil to your diet. Fish oil contains Omega 3 fatty acids, which offer an array of health benefits, such as improving heart function, increasing blood circulation and maintaining joint health. All three contribute to weight loss, because healthy joints, blood flow and a strong heart are necessary for exercise. When all are functioning properly, the duration of workouts can increase, making weight loss easier. You can obtain Omega 3 fatty acids from fish such as salmon, herring, and tuna, or you can take a daily fish-oil supplement. These are easy to find in any drugstore, supermarket or health food store.

3. Consider olive oil to achieve your weight-loss goals. When you think of fat, it is natural to assume it is something that would hinder a weight-loss plan. That is true in the case of saturated and trans fats like those found in animal meats. But olive oil is derived from plant products and is composed of mononunsaturated fats. Like fish oil, olive oils offer enormous health benefits. They are full of anti-oxidants that reduce the risk of heart disease and lower cholesterol. They also contain oleic acid, which is a natural appetite suppressant. When olive oil is consumed, it can help you feel fuller longer. It can replace butter in the cooking process and adds flavor to breads, vegetables and pasta. It can be used on salads in lieu of regular dressings. And it can be used as an alternative to vegetable oils in some baked goods and pastries.
