The earth's frequency is believed to be increasing.
Earth frequencies are measured in Schumann resonances, which are extremely low frequency (ELF) waves propagated by a relationship between the electromagnetic ionosphere and the deep cavities below the earth's crust. The overall Schumann resonance of the earth has been observed to be rising at a significant rate. The technology used for measurement, developed over three decades ago, has recorded the general frequency of the earth at 7.8 cycles per second for the majority of this time. Beginning near the end of the 20th century, the measurement has been increasing gradually, nearing 13 cycles per second. It is thought that this resonance, often referred to as the planet's "heartbeat," influences the vibration of the human body and that by meditating to bring the body into harmony with the faster vibration, a person can increase his feelings of well-being and peace.
Instructions
1. Find a quiet place free from significant distraction. As in most meditation practices, sequestering yourself in a place away from things like ringing cell phones and crying children will ensure that a Schumann meditation will be effective.
2. Listen to brainwave entrainment audio that is calibrated to the earth's current Schumann resonance. Brainwave entrainment technology is thought to encourage the human brain to resonate at certain brainwaves, namely alpha and delta, which can bring it into harmony with the earth's natural frequencies. Listen to the audio tracks, which often include binaural beats, with stereo headphones. The beats are most effective when they enter both ears at specific times.
3. Breathe deeply and ground yourself while listening to the audio track. While sitting or lying in a comfortable position, feel the energy entering your feet and rising through your body until it exits through your crown chakra at the top of your skull. Continue to breathe and visualize energy in this way throughout the entire meditation session. If your mind wanders, simply bring yourself back to feeling and incorporating the energy into your system.
4. Bring yourself back to the present moment and drink a glass of water after the audio track has ended. Energetic meditation has been shown to increase metabolism and blood flow which may make you thirsty.
