A silent and mysterious mime of unknown gender, GoGo is one of the most interesting secret characters available in Final Fantasy 6, which was originally released in the U.S. as Final Fantasy 3 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. GoGo is the most versatile character in the game because of his ability to mimic other party members actions and spells. Although GoGo's origins are shrouded in mystery, fans of the game have hypothesized that he could be anyone from Setzer's deceased girlfriend Darrill, to previous Illinois governor Adlai Stevenson, because of several statements Stevenson made that were very similar to things that happen to GoGo.
Instructions
1. Play through the first half of Final Fantasy 6 until reaching the world of ruin, and then pick up the airship named Falcon from Darrill's tomb.
2. Fly to the north and east until reaching the small triangle shaped island. Remove any of the relics your party members may have equipped that prevent random battles from occurring or reduce their frequency.
3. Travel on foot around the island fighting monsters until the party is attacked by a "Zone Eater". Do not kill the Zone Eater, but instead allow it to use it's engulfing ability to swallow all the party members.
4. Make your way through the inside of the Zone Eater, avoiding the guys dressed up like ninjas who are running across the rope bridges. If the party walks into any of these people they will be thrown down to a lower level of the area.
5. Locate GoGo at the end of the area and have the party speak with him. There will be a brief scene where the members of the party speculate as to whether GoGo is a man or a woman, and then he will join the group. Return to the beginning of the area and enter the shining light to be transported back onto the triangle island near the airship.
